B Sharp Systems designed and implemented Nortel Dashboard 2.0, a Web portal that allowed company engineers to monitor health of network devices in real time. Process of identifying and remediating failed devices, which used to take days, is now nearly instantaneous. Based on ASP.NET technology, Nortel Dashboard 2.0 communicates with various HP automation servers through Web Services. MS SQL Server 7.0 provides scalability to the portal, which brings together hundreds of heterogeneous system elements such as switches, routers and Windows Servers.
